The Initiative

Bridge the Digital Divide is an initiative started by Xpointo Media as a corporate social responsibility project that aims to contribute towards digital inclusion in Singapore. Through this project, we will solicit donations of working condition pre-loved digital devices such as laptops, tablets and mobile phones from organisation and individual donors and re-direct them to partnering non-profit organisations. These non-profit organisations either have a need for the devices themselves or are able to find suitable beneficiaries.

Get Involved

It takes a village. The Bridge the Digital Divide initiative is possible because of partnerships and collaboration with non-profit organisations, corporations and individuals working together towards this cause. Here are a few ways you can help:

Make a donation

We welcome donations of working condition devices (laptops, tablets and mobile phones), software and in-kind goods or services. Do direct all monetary donations to our partner Beyond Social Services’ Bridge the Digital Divide Fund.

Spread the word

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get updates on our progress. Help us raise awareness for our cause by sharing about our work with your social and professional network. In other words, tell everyone about us!

Be an ambassador

Advocate actively for our cause. Organise a laptops or smartphones donation drive, get your company involved, volunteer to run digital literacy online webinars, offer to mentor underprivileged youths for digital careers.

Donate Laptops

We welcome laptop donations from corporations and SMEs and we will distribute them to our partnering non-profits who can put them to good use. Do donate laptops that are in functional working condition and can have a long shelf life for its next use

1000+

devices to first milestone

To date, we have directed more than 1,000 donated devices to recipients with need. Working in tandem with businesses, non-profits and other partners, we have put the donated devices - laptops, tablets and mobile phones - to good use to create more digital inclusion in our society. Donated devices are being used for connectivity needs, schoolwork by students, job search, remote working opportunities and computer literacy workshops.
